A Little Show & Tell...

Hey guys....the weekend is almost here...Yahoo! Remember a couple of months ago I told you I bought this iron bed from Ashley Furniture? Remember I just couldn't find a comforter set that I was happy with for it....yes it just sits alone in this empty room waiting ...like Cinderella waiting on her Fairy Godmother..this is the only room in the house that I have not painted...can you believe it....
Well the other day I gave you a peek at the comforter set I finally decided on and I was waiting for the pillows to come...they came yesterday....I heard that UPS truck drive up and I was in the study and I had that front door slung open before he could get back in the truck!!!!!

Oh glory...Christmas!!!!! Man I didn't put the neckroll and the other 2 shams in the pic!!!!
Anyway...Bill helped me move the mattresses and get it set up....I put the bed in the little bedroom where I use to have the study....it is the same color as my living room....Deep Ochre...but I still haven't found the right nightstands I am looking for so it is still alone in a room watching for the pumpkin to turn into a carriage!
But to say I LOVE this set would be an understatement...It is gorgeous and the comforter is so huge I barely can get it took off the bed and folded and the checked skirt is just too cute!!!!
It is like it was made for the iron bed.....
I am seriously thinking about taking the sleigh bed out of the master bedroom (the yellow room) and putting this in there ...I have already painted below the chair rail in the creamy white and I plan on putting the picture frame molding in there...the master bathroom is Deep Ochre and I painted the cabinets black and distressed them back last year so all I need to do is paint the top of the chair rail which I will do in a Deer Path just like the kitchen because the comforter looks fantastic up against that color....that room gets alot of light and I think it would look better in there....but for now here is a peek of those glorious pillows.....ohhhhh glory...it even makes me feel a little frou frou...but not tooooo much! lol
Now this next little treasure has nothing to do with the bed covers (well it is toile) but I got this at Hobby Lobby half price....it is the sweetest little porcelain teapot nightlight.....
IN RED!!!!!! How sweet is that!!!! Look at the detail...I have it in my kitchen....ok that's it for now....but be sure and go by Kelli's @ There Is No Place Like Home for some sure nuf Show & Tell!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND YOU GUYS!!!!!!!! ~~~~~~~♥♥♥~~~~~~~

I love the bed set but I especially love the bed. I've had very bad luck with Ashley so I won't be running out to buy one like it. I am looking for a bed for my master since I donated the old one. I'm leaning toward iron this time, too and would love to have a black one.
I enjoyed my visit here and will read a little more about you.

I have to ask you if the bedding background is more of a off white or a lighter tan? I have been drooling over this bedding at jcp for quite some time but I can never decide exactly what the background color is. :) LOVE the nite light too! so cute.
