Sweet Treasures...
It was a beautiful day....we couldn't all be together...so hearts were filled with mixed emotions....joyful that we were all alive and well and that those that were miles aways were so very close in our hearts...we laughed and talked about family and God and memories from the past of all God has done in our lives....we fellowshipped with good food and lots of hugs and kisses from sweet babies.....we hid the Easter eggs and watched as the little ones squealed with excitement as they found them one by one (I don't know who enjoyed it more...the babies or the adults!) We talked on the phone to those far away and laughed and cried together as we shared the moments of the day....the day ended as we said our goodbyes and as I laid my head on my pillow....I thanked God for a resurrected Savior..who is alive today and moving in my life and the lives of my children....I praise Him for all His love and mercy that he has bestowed upon me & my family...to live to see this day & know the love that I know....my cup is truly full and running over..

Hi Dot,
Love the beautiful photos of your family! Thanks for sharing! Looks like you all had a wonderful holiday!

It looks and sounds like the Perfect Easter celebration, Picket. Our church had 30 services (yes, 30) so we had our family dinner on Saturday. My son is one of the pastors, so there was no time on Sunday for a family get together.
Such a special day for you and family.
I especially loved the pictures and the children are all so beautiful.. Hold onto them now for soon they will be grown ups and have their own family memories.
You and Helen are special to me and I treasure your friendships.
Blessings,
Maurine
Thanks for sharing the picturs of your family. The pictures are all great but the baby is adorable in that dress and headband.
I'm so thankful to live in a country where I am free to sing the praises of my Lord and savior. I can't imgaine not being able to speak freely about my faith. I try to witness to someone every day and have a prayer list that grows longer every day.

So glad you had a good Easter..so did I. All our family were with us thru church, fabulous lunch at the house and naps and then dessert..again! haha..
I got tickled when I read you had already moved the island out and table back in. I, too, think I want something different, we do all this work and then....one morning I get up and think, "what was I thinking...?" Then, we move it all around again. Gotta have it like we want it, tho!!
Oh, and I just noticed we have the same blog dress on for now, too! *grin...

Hi there Dot
I was so thrilled to come across your blog tonight.
You have no idea how encouraged I felt .I am new to the computer and the whole blog thing. My grown son thought it would do me good to jump out into the real world and meet some people. How right he was.
I still don't know where my blog is going or what the point of it is other than to shine a ray of sonlight upon others .
Blessings to you and yours.
Thank you for the example that you have set for others of a more mature generation. :)
Happy Monday

I especially love that picture of you with your parents, hubby, and the burly boys, and also that picture of your mother with the smallest precious grandbaby!

Praise the Lord for full cups that overflow with is wonderful blessings! Karen
Dot, this is the sweetest post, and why is it that everytime I see your son with his baby girl that I break into tears of joy? I do. Every single time. And I have to say that the little angel in the first picture with the white bow and the plump little dumpling arms that you just want to hug is the epitome of why I love Easter. I love to see the little ones go after the eggs! So cute! And all of your dear family is precious, and you are a dear heart of hearts!
XO,
Sheila
