A little Bit Of Everything....And Then Some!!!

Yahoo...it is Wednesday already!!!! Ohhhh it has been a great week so far! Here it is 3:30 in the afternoon and I am still in my pretty jammies my daughter got me..you know the ones with the soft cotton bottoms in plaids and checks and the solid cotton tops like a soft T-shirt....they are perfect for lounging around the house....(hey...I have seen people wear these things to town...but this gal won't be doing that any time soon! lol) Ohhhh I feel so special in them...but I feel like I have betrayed my 'frogie' lol

Anyway...I am just extra happy today! This Friday at 2:00 pm I will be meeting our very own Sherry from Edie Marie's Attic!!!!! Yes...Yes..it's true right here in Picketville at the local Cracker Barrel....Oh Glory!!!!!!

I have been shopping around for the last few weeks to find her alittle something to remember me by...Today I carefully wrapped my little tokens for her....
I got her sweet daughter-in-law Chris alittle something too cause she is the one responsible for this great meeting..it is a birthday present for Sherry..a road trip to meet several of her blogging friends....how fantastic is that! Ohhhh I curled each little ribbon with loving care (the things like to have drove me crazy...clinging all around my fingers and not wanting to curl the direction I wanted them to!) Oh and I searched the house over looking for my little doily name tags...ohhhhh sweet!!!! Ok...Ok..go ahead and laugh...I know they look corny, but I never was one for fancy! lol I just can't wait to see the little Toot and give her a big old hug!
During all this ribbon curling wrestling match...the mail lady came to the door...ohhhhh lookie here...
A couple of weeks ago I won a give away over at our very own Suzanne's @ Colorado Lady...
Look at the sweet card and package....
See...I didn't make it up...I really did win!!!!!!

Ohhhhh the box is even gorgeous!!!!!!
Lookie here..lookie here...a set of retro tile coasters!!!!!! Ohhhhhhh Glory I love these!!!!!

Look at the detail....thank you ...thank you Suzanne...ohhhhh I do so love these I tell you....oh and don't even get any ideas that someone will ever put a glass on these beauties..not while I can still knock a knot on their head!!!!!

I got the two panels to my new curtains...here is a peek...the sheers are the color of the creamy with red toile design and the valance is just like this with a red stripe ruffle and a crochet doily ruffle....they will be here Friday the store said....I will use them in the study or the second bedroom..they were just too good a bargin to pass up and they are TOILE!

Ohhh it is also Outdoor Wednesday time...my Asian lilies are blooming now...I have red and yellow ones...

Oh and take a look at these....oh I am so happy...this is my little Husky Cherry tomatoe Bill planted for me in the flower bed....lookie here...little tomatoes....ohhhh how sweet is that...where is a hankie!!!!! My grandmothers would be so proud..(then again they are probably shaking there heads ....saying "poor baby...it don't take much to make her happy! ") lol lol

Go over to Susan's @ A Southern Daydreamer and really see some gorgeous outdoor treasures....Have a fantastic week you guys...love ya~♥♥♥~

Dot, your new curtains are the same fabric as my bedding!! We have such good taste. :)

Your flowers and tomatoes look wonderful. Aren't we so happy that it's spring?

Have fun meeting up with blogging friends.

The flower pictures are so pretty...and tomatoes already...now aren't you lucky...our part of the country is no where that close...our plants are about 10 to 12 inches high...sitting in muddy red ground from all the rain we have had.

Enjoy your Friday visit with blogging buddies...I am sure they will enjoy the gifts hand picked and wrapped for them.

No one will tell about you wearing your jammies all day.

Enjoy your blessings from above!

Hey, Dot (aka PAT)! LOL!

I'm so glad you found those cute curtains and that you are getting to see your blogging buddy. Don't be surprised when I pull up to Picketville on a road trip one day, and say, "Dot, let's do lunch!" LOL!

It's 91 degrees in Central Florida. I'm ready to go north (as in NE Florida) for the summer. There's a little thing called a sea breeze which makes St. Augustine really nice about right now. ;-)

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hey Picket! It's been a while since I commented but I have been popping by fairly regularly to see what you have been up too. Love the new wainscotting, the toile bedroom re-do, and your garden is looking as gorgeous as ever.

Happy news...after much hemming and hawing, I finally decided to join all the other RMS'ers and start a blog. And to celebrate, I'm already having a multi-prize giveaway. Come on by for a visit if you have time.

Fondly,
Shari

I tell my husband if I was to win some money I would love to plan a get together, he just looks at me funny...I don't play the lotto so how am I thinking I will win some money?! Well it was an idea!
Have fun!
I love the coasters too!

How nice you are going to meet one of your bloggers. I met sweet Shari of My Cottage of Bliss in Fla. the week after Easter. I flew for the first time! What a sweetheart. She started her own blog, and is having a giveaway, so please hop over and say hello!

NICE coasters that you won! Congrats! Wish my flowers were doing that good. We bought some "food" for them to see if the would help them out as they are not..up to par? :) Your veggies and flowers look wonderful!
I hope you have a wonderful time meeting up with your blogging buds.

How fun to get to meet a fellow blogger. And I love the prize you won! I also can't believe you already have tomatoes growing and we can't even put the plants in the ground yet!

I love those kind of pj's. I have lots of them! And it's a good thing, because I had to share them with Aunt Ruth and Ruthie, when they decided to visit here at the lake, last week. They didn't plan on staying overnight, but we talked them into it.

I have several pairs of grey pj bottoms from the hanes outlet and several bright colored tee shirts from eddie bauer outlet, I wear quite a bit. Well...one evening a couple of weeks ago, I already had my pj's on when we decided to go to sonic for ice cream. Yep..I went to town in those pj's! I stayed in the truck!!

Have fun with your bloggy meeting. I'm meeting a bloggy friend next week, too!

Have a wonderful time with your friends. Those are fantastic packages you have for them. If what's inside is anything like the outside looks, it must be something special. Take lots of pics for us.
