Life Is Good!!!!!

Hey guys!!! It's the weekend already...I know..I know..I have fell off the wagon..of blogging that is...My farm has grown so big and I have the absolute best neighbors over there just like here in blogland...(could that be cause most of my neighbors are MY BLOGGER BUDDIES!!!! LOL) Justine is holding weekly classes to teach us the right way to harvest and plow ( she secretly uses me as the example of how NOT TO DO IT!!!) That woman is so fast at farm work that if you do go harvest for her BEWARE..if you dare drop your harvest tool and bend over to pick it up be it known she will be right there behind your hiney with the plow and it won't be pretty!!!! lol
Alot of my family now have farms and last night my oldest grandson, Randy, in Oklahoma who will be moving back down here with his mama & daddy(my sweet daughter Tracy...who I have missed so much for these last 6 years)in a couple of weeks...ohhh glory....we are so excited...ohhh sorry...he has a farm now and he harvested for me last night for the first time and ohhhhh to see his little stick man plowing in my field.....ohhhh it was a hankie moment!!!!

Ok back to blogland..see this here package????

See this here beautiful card???? It is from our very own Jeannette here in blogland...her blog is Sincerely Yours, Jeannette and it is a beautiful blog and she is just a beautiful sweet soul...anyway a few weeks ago she changed her header pic to these glorious black & white chickens that just almost made me cry when I first saw it! My favorite chicken is the old timey black & white that has the soft little black baby dodies..oh I love them....

When I opened that package and saw what she had made specially for me...it was all I could to to keep the camera from getting wet as I tried to take pics of them...

Can you believe this!!! She made me two pics and even put them in custom mats!!!!!!

and.....the mats match my wall color perfectly!!!!! Oh glory...they look like something from an art gallery!!!!!! I can't even take a decent enough pic of them for you to see their real beauty!!!!

I went and found the perfect frames for them...black with little worn edges!!!!

They are big 11x14's and they make such a statement on my kitchen wall....ohhhhhh Jeannette I do so love them!!!! Please go by and say hello to Jeanette and tell her how beautiful her work looks in MY KITCHEN!

I didn't show you a whole view of the wall they are on cause I am looking for the perfect plates to hang over them! lol

Can you guess what is different about this view.....

ok...I'll try to give you a closer view.....
Oh come on......there it is in black and white all spelled out for you! lol Remember I moved the old window frame mirror and put the picture of the old church there???? Well my 'traditional' roots go to deep sometimes....yes I am not 100% country...I am a mixed breed...there I said it! lol But I had this big mirror I had to move and it wasn't gonna go in the shed so I turned it longways and it doesn't show all the kitchen so that the view isn't so bad....I love how it shows all the way to the back door!!!!and what does this little beauty have to do with anything in this post....nothing!!!! I got it TJ Maxx for $13 and I am thinking of what to put in it for a CLOCHE!!!! Yes I said a cloche...Marty over @ A Stroll Thru Life is having another cloche party in Sept!!!!!! Yahoo!!!!! Now guys you may not feel comfortable doing tablescapes...or doing different color days...or even doing recipe and antique post...BUT YOU CAN DO A CLOCHE!!!!!! I'm serious...you can take anything and make a cloche from it..for goodness sake...even a old canning jar!!!! get those creative juices going and join in..the last one was amazing and the inspiration unbelievable...
So that's it for now guys...I hope to get back to regular blogging after we get things settled for Tracy and family..Can you believe it!!!! All my babies under one roof for Christmas this year!!!!! Have a great weekend everybody and remember to tell that loved one you love them...don't assume they know it! Love you guys! ~♥~

Hi Picket, What sweet chicken prints, and what luck that Jeanette matted them and they matched perfectly! I love your frame selection for them, too. I had to chuckle when I read that your kids have farms too and it chokes you up to see them harvest and plow your fields, because that is exactly how I feel when I have Jacob do mine. If you ever visit his farm you'll see how cute his farm is compared to mine, I have to keep a ton of crops so that he can harvest and plow and earn the money! ~ See you back at the farm. ~ Robyn

Speaking of all your family. I've been wondering how that sweet miracle baby is doing now. Hope all is still well. I'm sure she's not spoiled at all! I'm glad you're loving farming so much and keeping out of trouble. We're still waiting for the call. Waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting........soon though, very soon.

I love those chicken prints. They look perfect in the black frames. I wish my real live chickens were that pretty. I have a rooster that is pretty neat, but the chickens not so much.
Cute cloche you found at TJMaxx. I never seem to find things like that.
That is so neat that your daughter is moving back. You will all have some great times together now.
Your farm is really looking good. It is so addicting, I can't believe it. I didn't think so at first, but it got to me. lol.

Wooooooooooooo hooooooooooooo! I am SO excited for you that Tracy is moving back HOME! Oh boy, you must be doing a constant happy dance. Just don't bend over, or I'll plow right over ya! Heeheeheeeeee

Okay, those chicken pictures are just toooooooooooo cute and that was super sweet of her to send them! The frames are PERFECT.

And hey, I'm pretty good. I noticed that you'd switched out the picture for the mirror right away. In fact, I think I said aloud, "Wait, I thought she didn't like the reflection?"

Did you read my latest post? Scary stuff there.

Justine :o )

Mornin Dot, I'm so thrilled for you and your family, all the babies together finally, it's WONDERFUL!!! Dot the chicken pictures are fabulous!!! They look so perfect in the black frames, just beautiful! Your chickenwire cloche is so cute, you'll have fun with it! I have been working real hard, still tons more to do tho. I brought up the antique bed from the basement his morning and there might be a problem, so I'm probably gonna use an old iron bed that was my moms, its more shabby chic anyway! I hope to post a few pics this week. have a great day sweetie!! xoxoxxo
