Morning guys!!!!! This is a new week and a new month!!!! It's almost Thanksgiving! Yahoo! Got alot done last week....unpacked 6 more boxes and put up a couple of more new light fixtures ( can't live with just a bulb hanging from ceiling! lol) But my biggest project was this...... remember this when we moved in...
Now don't get me wrong...I love wallpaper...always will...but this was just the wrong pattern for me and the wrong colors..and it was glued on TIGHT!!!! It was not coming off like the bathroom one did....soooo what is a girl to do.....when in doubt PAINT OVER IT!!!!!!!

Do you have to do anything special to paint over the wallpaper? I need to paint the kitchen and have been dreading pulling down the wallpaper, but I was afraid that painting over wouldn't look right -- your's looks terrific!
It's beautiful! So do they take all these improvements off of your rent? Around here people don't let you do anything to their places that is permanent like painting, etc. I love what you and Bill are doing with it and I'm glad to hear your dad is improving so well!

SO HAPPY that your mom and dad are improving....what a blessing that you are close by! I love the difference you have made it the house. The painting in the kitchen is amazing. I did the same thing because there was no way I could get the wallpaper down. You really can't tell unless you knew where the seams were. I can't wait to see pictures as you are finishing.

I'm glad you like your new home & I hope your parents continue to improve. I didn't know Valspar didn't have an odor. I've got to try that b/c I have chemical allergies & get migraines if I paint, but I like to paint. Love that color and your amber dishes!
