Then did my own drumroll....reached in and this is who I grabbed!!!! It's Maurine from Stitchins House of Prims!!! Yea Maurine! She is just the sweetest thing...can sew anything and sells beautiful prim creations...she's a sassy little thing..knowing her she will ask me if the dried beans come with those glass canisters!
I will be packing these little beauties up and shipping them off right away...thanks to each of you for entering and thanks a million for all the sweet comments and prayers and love about our son's moving to Montana...these last few days I have had such a peace inside and I haven't cried!
Now I have to share with you a sweet treasure I got in the mail...or should I say treasures cause this box was packed to the gills!!!! Remember Kasarra from Rate My Space days...ohhhh what fun times those were for alot of us...anyway we met way back then and we stay in touch pretty often and now that I am back on facebook we farm together lol...oh sorry lost concentration there...But sweet 'K' is just the most precious thing with such a heart of gold...she sent me this HUGE box of goodies...I ripped thru it like a kid at Christmas...this was the first thing I saw...gorgeous Coke mat...love the old nostalgic look..
So I carefully layed it on the counter excited to dig deeper..but wait...what in the world was all this...is that an egg carton!!! ...Uh 'K' sweetie...is the hormone medicine not working for you! lol I laughed so hard I thought I was the only one on the planet that packed stuff like that!
But ohhhh look at all the treasures hidden in there...cups with roosters!!! Ohhhh I so love that wire vase!!!! Little fridge magnets...tooo cute...
Oh wait another layer under some packaging...oh my word can you say SQUEAL!!!! Do you see that glorious black tin and that old rolling pin and lordy to my time I see a huge wooden spool hiding down there...double squeal!
Ohhhhh little coke tile coasters....love these and embroidery linens....
Ohhhhhhh look what she had crammed in the black tin...GLORY!!!!!!!!
Oh my word look at this one...could you imagine all the work someone put into this with their own hands....ohhhh makes me cry...
It just keeps coming...the more I took out the more it seemed was in there..
I was just speechless and mostly because there was such a huge lump in my throat cause I could just feel such love from 'K' with each treasure I unpacked...
I mean this box was double loaded with so many precious treasures..beautiful country decorating book...pretty vase with flowers...the linens...the cups..the wooden spool...on and on and I know I am forgeting to mention something..but here you can see it fills the whole table..
I couldn't even begin to thank her enough...I love you sis and I am so blessed to have you as a friend..thank you again for your big ol heart felt box of love...I CHERISH IT SO!!! Well that's about it for now you guys...don't know what's up with blogger but it took 2 hours just to down load these pics...I would have had this post up at the crack of daylight if it hadn't been for that....now I gotta go 'wake' Maurine up and tell her to send me her address that Santa is coming her way! No matter what the weather outside there are certain things in our life that will always trigger the start of the special and favorite things in our life. Fall is my favorite time of year. My children never went to school before Labor Day and my grandchildren start the first week in Aug.I'm ready for fall anytime now.
