I'm running WAY late on my Blue Monday visits this week, but wanted to be sure to say hello and tell you how much I love the blue canning jars ... and also the shelf they're on!

Your Wednesday post is totally cool ... sepia pics that turn to color halfway through. Kinda like The Wizard of Oz :o)

I've been searching for tan and black checked fabric like your's for several weeks now, with no luck. Bakersfield is so far from everything (100 miles in 3 directions to the nearest larger city, and to the east there's nothing but the Mojave Desert until you get to Las Vegas, 5 hours away). And now the sentence got too long, good grief ... was saying we're so far away from other towns/cities that it's a 1 to 2 hour drive to get anywhere near a decent mall (ours is awful). Guess I'll have to head to Houston or Memphis to visit relatives and check out Hob Lob for myself one of these days.

Hi Dot- I love it when you post pictures of your home and yard - both are so nice - so many special touches you give it. Looking at the pics of your home - I see so many items that either, me or my Mom have and have used through the years -some are stored in sheds - just as you do - until we need to redo a room - or change things up.

Take care - I really appreciate you stopping by my blog - I dont' get a lot of traffic and a lot of family members just read it and are " too chicken " to comment on it. LOL!

You have some pretty blues there! Don't you just love the excuse to show some of the things you love? I am a big fan of quilts and I just love yours. How wonderful to have them passed down. I also love your cross stitch (I love to do those, mostly stamped samplers though) and the painted roosters (my late mother loved to paint ceramics). Tin signs are sooo retro and soooo in!!
